Dream on

Writing in the Blogg:

  • A short introduction (3-4 sentences) to the book (beware of spoilers!).
  • Your opinion of the book. Explain!
  • Describe the language.

Writing task to hand in to Anna in Fronter:

One of the characters (you choose) in the novel tells the story from his/her point of view. Thoughts and feelings about what happened. (400-500 words)

Discussion in groups (with Anna, week 18):
  • The plot, the characters, the places and the time in the novel.
  • Dreams, are they important?  Why? Are dreams important even though you might not be sure of being able to fulfill them? Your personal dreams, what are they?
  • Racism and sports. Have you met any examples?
  • Compare with other similar stories/films

  1. Dream on, is about a boy, who wants to play football. The only problem is that his father says that no indian guy has ever played for a big football club, and don`t want him to play.

I strongly recommend this book, to boys or girls who really loves playing football. Because if you play football you know how hard it is to become a professional football player.

If your not so good at english, this book is no problem for you. It`s easy to read, except for some sentences, when his father speak. Thats because of, his not so good at english. So the gramar is not good at all.
